Knotless Netting Wall Art: 'Rustick Catchez'

Join local artist Kim Greene, in this special workshop where you’ll learn to craft a ‘Rustick Catchez’ using natural grapevine hoops, waxed cotton thread and the age-old technique of knotless netting.

You will be guided step by step to create a unique woven piece of wall art in this 5 hour workshop. Kim is an expert in this area and has been making dream catchers for over 30 years. ‘Rustick Catchez’ use similar techniques but with a woodland, rustic theme resulting in these charming nature-inspired wall art pieces. You will also have the option to incorporate beads into your work and Kim will provide a selection to work with. However, you are welcome to bring along your own special charms or large-hole beads to personalise your piece to make it more meaningful for you.
